Dear Glenview Ward Members,
We will now be handling Cannery orders and information primarily via the internet. Order information for the Cannery will be sent to everyone in the ward by email. It will also be posted on the ward website, ward blogletter, ward bulletin, and posted on the kitchen door on Sundays.
We will be utilizing the Relief Society and Elders quorum email lists to distribute Cannery information. If you are not already on the list or have not been receiving your leaders emails please contact them to add your email address to their list so you will get the cannery information. If you would like to be included on a Cannery-Only email list please contact Gretta Hansen (contact info below) or sign up on the sheet provided on the kitchen door each Sunday.
Please find cannery items available for July and this months cannery information listed bellow.
Orders can be placed one of three ways:
1. Email – Email orders can be sent to gvcanning@gmail.com. Please take note: all email orders must be placed by 1:00pm of the date included on the order announcements each month!
2. Hard Copy – find the hard copy posted on the kitchen door, usually only the first two Sundays of each month. It will only be posted on Sundays and it is usually only available the first two weeks each month
3. Phone - Phone orders can be placed by calling the Ward Canning Specialist (Gretta Hansen at 480-296-5426). Please take note: all phone orders must be placed by 1:00pm of the date included on the order announcements each month!
Please contact the Ward Canning Specialist (Gretta Hansen) with any questions or concerns you may have. Also if you are having a hard time making it to our ward/stake canning day, please contact the Ward Canning Specialist or the Bishop we may have a solution for your situation.

Non-Fat Milk ($7.60)
Regular Oats ($2.60)
Macaroni ($4.00)

Pinto Beans ($5.05)
**All phone and email orders for July must be place no later than 1:00pm June 14th, 2009!
Future Canning Days: Aug. 4th – Potato Flakes, Fruit Drink, Sugar, Black Beans, Rice, Quick Oats
Sep. 1st – White Beans, Refried Beans, Cocoa, Flour, Onions, White Wheat
Oct. 6th – Non-Fat Milk, Regular Oats, Macaroni, Carrots, Apple Slices, Pinto Beans
(The above items are available every 3 months)
** Prepackaged Items are available at the Mesa Home Storage Center. These items do not have to be preordered and are sold by the case, 6 cans. Pinto Beans $34.85, Quick Oats $17.60, White Rice $28.30 and Red Wheat $20.40.
