News from the Young Women!

On Jan. 28, 2009 we had "New Beginnings" for all the Young Women and their parents. We spotlighted the "New" Young Women and encouraged the girls and their parents to work together on Personal Progress goals. It was a fun evening and we appreciate everyone coming!

During the entire month of February our Mutual Nights will be Stake Sports Activities. The Mia Maids & Beehives will play softball and the Laurels will play volleyball with the Priests.

News from the Cub Scouts!

The Cub Scouts of Glenview and Lyn Rae Wards enjoyed a
'Games' night at their January pack meeting. The games ranged
from paper airplane contests to basketball and clothespin
relays. Cub master Tim Hill did a great job of running the show
and making it a fun evening for the boys and their families.

February 10th is the annual Blue and Gold Banquet, starting
at 6:00 PM at the Glenview Building. It will have an All
American theme and menu. The cubs will not want to miss it,
because the car kits for the Pinewood Derby on March 10th
will be passed out.

Sabrina Taylor, Andrea Nelson and Joe Hatch are dedicated
den leaders. (Sister Nelson has been doing double duty since
being put in the Primary Presidency, and will soon have a re-
placement as Den Leader). We appreciate the time and care
they put into their callings. We thank you!
