"COME WHAT MAY AND LOVE IT"...RS Theme for 2009
For those of you who were not in RS last Sunday for our ALL RS lesson, we talked about the Theme for the Glenview Relief Society for 2009. It's from the talk by Elder Wirthlin "Come What May & Love It" If you haven't read it, PLEASE do! There are 4 principles that will help you cope with the future, and to stay strong enough to face what ever comes. Just remember we are all sisters in this Glenview Family and we need to work together to lift and build each other!!!
Elder Wirthlin said "The Lord Jesus Christ is our partner, helper and advocate. He wants us to be happy. He wants us to be successful. IF WE DO OUR PART, he will step in." Our part is to watch out for the needs of each other. Visiting teaching is such a perfect way to take care of the needs of each of our sisters. Thank you for your diligence and make sure in this Valentine month of love, that we show forth our love to the sisters we visit! if you are a visiting teacher and didn't get your hand out last week, I will have them out again this Sunday!
